Update Tether86

To make sure you are equipped with the latest feature and smooth experience in your app , we recommend you too keep our app updated. Each update may contains bug fixes, lower resource usage, layout changes which as a whole will improve user experiences with the app.
  • Open Play Store app available in your android device.
  • At the left top, tap Menu > My apps & games. Apps with available updates listed under "Updates".
  • If Tether86 is listed, tap Update.

Download and Install Tether86

Tether86 is a free app offered by RaeonGlobal . This app is currently fixes USB tethering of Androidx86 based OS like PrimeOS, PhoenixOS, RemixOS,etc with the mobile phone, jiofi and other gadget that shares internet connection using USB. Android device of API level 24 (android 6.0) or onward will support  this app and hence available only for them. For devices with API level 23 (Marshmallow-used in PhoenixOS android 5.1) or lower, this app will crash on open. However, We are working on it and will be out soon after testing. So stay tuned with us.

Enable Tethering

Open Tether86. Press on the blue button in the center of the screen with > symbol. It will do its job. Now enable tethering in your mobile/device with which you are going to share internet to Androidx86 OS.

Root Access

When you open Tether86 for the first time, Upon pressing tether button (present in center having blue color) It will ask for root access. If your device is not rooted, App will give you message in the bottom that it is not rooted. unfortunately, we must need rooted device to use it. For rooted device, If new window appear asking permission for app root access then you must permit it for always. Otherwise every time you open Tether86 ask for root access.

What is Credit ?

From the version 5, App will require credit to run/fix tethering. Credit are some points/charges that is get deducted everytime this app perform root tasks (perform root task while fixing only). So, you must have collected enough credit to keep this app working.
Note : Once credit get exhausted, App will no more work. See how to collect credits in the next section. If you failed to do so, only way to fix is by uninstalling first and installing again (which is not recommended).

How to collect Credit?

Only Way to collect credit is by watching Ads. Watching Ad will add 2 credits in your credit bank.
Note: There is some treasure you will discover while watching Ad (or taking some action on it).

You know androidx96 based OS are full of bugs and glitches. But i love it and make some time to fix some genral problems which is not easy.
